Even though he does not ever address the issue of love, or of the classy girl, or of the spiritual side of sex, Roissy is one of the deepest and most profound thinkers of game that I know. His views have shaped me tremendously. He has helped me become a stronger man.
His Sixteen Commandments of Poon are legendary. Every time I read them, I am impressed by how on point they are. This one, number three, get me every time. Soooo important.
This is where I think art really comes into play. Art is about aesthetics, about pleasure, about storytelling, and about personal experience. Art is about chasing the divine, about seeking a spiritual connection.
This mindset dovetails quite nicely with girls, with fucking, and with fucking lots of girls.
Even more important, this mindset fits very nicely with fucking lots of girls, and not letting them get to you. Like they got to poor Mel.
You shall make your mission, not your woman, your priority
Forget all those romantic cliches of the leading man proclaiming his undying love for the woman who completes him. Despite whatever protestations to the contrary, women do not want to be “The One” or the center of a man’s existence. They in fact want to subordinate themselves to a worthy man’s life purpose, to help him achieve that purpose with their feminine support, and to follow the path he lays out. You must respect a woman’s integrity and not lie to her that she is “your everything”. She is not your everything, and if she is, she will soon not be anymore.
Roissy’s Commandments of Poon are gold. Better than anything Mystery ever says. Rossiy sums up all the key points nicely.
A modern sexual prophet.
Roissy is cutting edge. He is the latest and the greatest. He needs to write a book, and become a household name.
However, we can’t forget that Mystery invented modern game theory — meaning, he invented game.
I wrote about this somewhere on Roissy’s blog. Will look for it. But basically, Mystery did two things:
1. He invented the concept of disqualification theory. This is incredibly huge for building attraction.
2. He discovered that getting a girl in bed requires three distinct, **linear** phases: A, C, S. Meaning, you need to start with A, then C, then S. Meaning, don’t make the mistake of attempting to start with Comfort!
Also, as far as I can tell, he popularized the concept of “demonstrating higher value”, or offering value, and of social proofing a group of people.
Mystery broke down game into discreet steps, discreet goals and targets, and overarching theories which have proven to work, and have yet to be proven wrong.
Meaning, he invented game.
